Usually herbs are prepared before they can be hackled with a grinder. This process includes removing the branches, which are mostly abundantly covered with vegetation, and then drying the herb for a few days/weeks depending on the room and the climatical situation. Cutting off the branches can occur with a scissor, a knife or with the hands.
